On December 6th, members of the MEA met with MTA representatives to discuss the “Fund Our Future” campaign.
The campaign is focused on having the legislature pass the recommendations of the Foundation Budget Review Commission. Passing this could bring $992,350 in additional Chapter 70 funding by 2023
The Marshfield Education Association came together in Boston on May 16th and told our legislators that all students deserve an excellent education, from preschool through college.
Support the Promise Act, to increase state funding for public schools by more than $1 billion a year, and the Cherish Act, to increase funding for public higher education by more than $500 million a year and to freeze tuition and fees.
